Generators for installation in a protected area in the vehicle (PVMV-N)The Panda PVMV-N vehicle generator should be chosen in all cases where space and length is available. With this version the silencer system is completely integrated within the sound insulation capsule. This considerably reduces installation problems within the vehicle, because the exhaust is already fitted. The generator must be installed with an external radiator on the roof or somewhere externally on the vehicle. These vehicle generators are available with the standard sound insulation capsule in GRP or with the higher quality version MPL (stainless steel).

Generators for installation in a well-ventilated areas within vehicle (PVM-NE)Vehicle generator with sound insulation capsule and externally mounted main silencer
These generators feature an externally mounted air-cooled exhaust at the rear end of the capsule. No additional silencer is necessary. Due to the heat absorption of the silencer this version must be installed in a well-ventilated area. |
Generators for external installation requiring external radiator (PVK-U Series)The PVK-U AC vehicle generators are extremely compact diesel generators for external mounting on vehicles. These vehicle generators are suitable for mounting underfloor, beneath the chassis, in an area that is not shielded from the weather.
The basic casing is a steel construction with a heavy metal sheet cover. This cover can be taken off in one piece. At the front is a wide range hatch to give easier access to the installed components within. The water-cooled exhaust silencer is mounted inside the sound insulation capsule. An additional exhaust silencer is not required. The radiator cooler for the water-cooling system must be ordered and installed separately with the PVK-U versions. |
